FashionablyRED: 1 March 2007

FashionablyRED was the original FashionablyCOLOUR event. It took place on 1 March 2007 in Bar Risa, Oxford. The event consisted of a Champagne Reception, Fashion Show, FM Model Agency Scouts, Lush hand treatments, After-party, LIERAC Gift Bags and Raffle. The concept was simple combine a common interest, fashion, with a good cause, in this case the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Our chosen charity was AVERT we chose because one of the members of the committee had had first hand experience with them and their amazing efforts while on her gap year. We had a great mix of clothing, some from Oxford based boutiques Gaff, Lizzie James and The Ballroom but the real spectacle of the show was the amazing creations from four graduates of the world renowned Central Saint Martins School of Fashion, London: Charlotte Cargin, Ichiro Suzuki, Liz Borglin and Mary Callan. The local Oxford and Cherwell Valley College fashion class showed their great creations based on the theme ‘Eco-Rouge’.
